Gwen had her first well child appointment (up to this point they have been called well baby). She was asked to take off her shoes before standing on the scale (which I helped with). Then she stood still while her height was measured- it was so cute! She is 27lbs 7oz and 31 inches tall (90th and 89th percentile respectively). She is exceeding all her milestones and developing beautifully (we already knew that ;-)

The calculations that my mom used, and her mom used, and I used (with Daniel) are as follows:
For girls height at 18 months doubled, and for boys height at 24 months doubled....this gives the adult height (barring any glandular changes). So, Gwenny should be appx. 5' 2" as an adult.
Mom and her sister, myself and two brothers, and Daniel; all reached within an inch of the expected heights.
Awww, she stops to smell the flowers now! So cute!
